FAQs
How do I book an appointment?
You can book an appointment by using our online booking system or by calling our reception desk directly.
Can I book a virtual or telephone appointment?
In-person appointments available for rostered and walk-in patients. Phone appointments available for rostered patients ONLY.
Why does the receptionist ask for the reason for my visit?
Our staff asks for brief details about your medical issue to ensure we allocate the correct amount of time for your appointment. Some visits—like physicals, minor procedures, or forms—require longer slots than a standard prescription refill.
Are you a walk-in clinic or by appointment only?
We operate primarily by appointment to keep wait times low. However, we do hold a number of same-day urgent slots that open every morning. Please call early in the day if you have an urgent medical concern.
Can I get medical information on behalf of a family member?
Due to strict patient confidentiality and privacy laws, our staff cannot disclose medical information, test results, or appointment details about anyone else without their explicit, written consent on file.
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
Please bring your valid provincial health card (e.g., OHIP) to every single visit. If your health card is expired or invalid, you may be required to pay an upfront fee for service until your card is renewed.
Can I get a second opinion from your specialists?
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit. Optio, neque qui velit. Magni dolorum quidem ipsam eligendi, totam, facilis laudantium cum accusamus ullam voluptatibus commodi numquam, error, est. Ea, consequatur.
Does my health insurance cover everything?
No. While standard consultations, assessments, and medically necessary tests are fully covered, certain "uninsured services" are not covered by provincial health plans. These must be paid out-of-pocket or through private insurance:
- Sick notes / Back-to-work notes
- Driver’s medical examinations
- Form completion (disability tax credits, insurance forms)
- Cosmetic treatments or certain travel vaccinations
What if I am an international student or don't have provincial health coverage?
We welcome uninsured patients, visitors, and international students. Standard consultation fees will apply upfront, and we can provide an itemized receipt for you to claim back through your private insurance provider.
My prescription has run out. Can I get a refill over the phone?
To ensure patient safety, medications generally require a brief evaluation by a doctor before renewal. Please book an appointment at least one week before your medication runs out. Phone refills without an appointment may be subject to an uninsured service fee.
Do you provide emergency services?
If you are experiencing a life-threatening medical emergency (such as chest pain, severe shortness of breath, or sudden weakness), call emergency services immediately or go to the nearest emergency room.
